An original early 20th century shell carrier, used to carry artillery ammunition. Made of leather with a leather carrying handle and a canvas lining. Polychrome armorial coat of arms applied to the front of the carrier, which is worn but still visable.
Signs of age and use and some stains and some minor losses to the leather in places. The handle is in very good condition. 52cm high 8.5cm diameter.
