A rare late Victorian Renaissance Revival Cast iron table base, British and attributed to Walter Macfarlane. Beautifully cast with grotesque masks, acanthus ornament and lions paw feet. Retaining its historic multiple paint layers and with a later added Carrara marble top. Very good condition, paint marks as described, some light markings to top. Diameter 80cm height 73cm.
