An exceptional example of a large antique Ironstone Pure Butter Dairy Slab originally made for displaying and storing pure butter. Boldly inscribed in black lettering and dating from the late 19th century it has acquired a beautiful patina with subtle marks, crazing and wear consistent with its age and use. 40cm diameter 6cm high.
Condition: Very good solid antique condition. There is small damage to one of the grab handles which is not very noticeable when on display, please see photographs for reference.
