A delightful French 19th century Toile de Jouy Quilt, featuring blue floral motifs and swallows in the traditional style. Made with a cotton fabric and hand stitched the quilt is in very good order, there are some light stain marks to each side (pattern is the same on both sides). There is one very small hole (difficult to see), remarkably good condition for its age. Purchased directly from a French home. 150cm x 170cm
