19th Century French Split Glass Mirror
A beautiful French 19th century split panel mirror (produced prior to techniques to manufacture large sheets of glass) with hand made mercury glass with dusting of crystals along the split. A gilt and gesso frame with foliage motifs. Original mirror plates and backboard. Height 163cm width 98cm depth 5cm. Condition: Very good solid condition, some loss of gesso and gilt in places, please see photographs.
